DENTAL ABSCESS

Dental abscess, does it make you feel unhappy? Does it frequently trouble your sleep?That represents a disease of the mouth which is a collection of pus.

This is localized in the surrounding area the infected tooth apex (lower tip of the tooth). There are different types of abscess. We can mention: acute abscess and chronic abscess.

In the large majority of cases, the acute form is more frequent and engenders more discomfort.

The purulent discharge is generally thick and has the usual constituents of pus, broken-down cells, living cells, bacteria.

Causes

1) That sometimes arrives when tooth decay is not treated at the beginning.

 2) The pulp (or the central part of the tooth) is infected by bacteria such:streptococcus lactobacilli causing the pulp inflammation (pulpitis), finally the death of the pulp.

 3) Sometimes the infected tooth is situated in a position that is unsuspected or undetected.

 4) Furthermore,when a tooth was traumatized or fractured by a violent shock.

 5) Finally a bad endodontic treatment may causes dental abscess.
