to know more sugars stay in contact with your teeth, more
sugars will be harmful for them.
· Monitor the number of snacks daily.
· Do Never neglect to brush your teeth before bedtime. While
you sleep, saliva production decreases. Thus, its role of
protector decreases also.

teeth.
If you are pregnant you need to have a balanced diet
remember child’s dental health has begun since her mother’s
pregnancy.
During the first weeks of pregnancy dental germs start to
form, so good nutrition is vital for fetus.
Moreover pregnant women should have a thorough mouth exam to
treat any gum disease or cavities.

condition of her teeth can easily determine her child’s
teeth.
Parents especially mother can facilitate the transmission of
dental caries to child, baby. Frequently mother or caregivers
share, forks, spoons, and other utensils whith baby.

amount of saliva remained on these utensils contains harmful
bacteria.

formula, juice, milk or other sugary substances.

· After one year old, use a dab of toothpaste to brush your
baby’s mouth. Don’t forget to teach your child not to swallow
the tooth paste.
· Always supervise the brushing of your toddler or child
until he is height years old.
